DAY ONE : DRIVE TO SIPI FALLS

We shall set off early morning for our adventure trip to the Eastern part of the country. This road trip will take us through the lush Mabira forest, Jinja tourism city and the source of the Nile, sugarcane and rice plantations and we shall stopover for lunch in the biggest city in Eastern Uganda-Mbale overlooking the magnificent Mt Elgon.

We shall later proceed to the slopes of this mountain caldera in Sipi for a nature walk through arguably the world’s most romantic waterfalls. We shall later drive back to Mbale and overnight at Mbale Resort Hotel.

DAY TWO : DRIVE TO KIDEPO VALLEY NP

After our morning breakfast, we shall drive further north via Teso land to Karamoja in Kidepo valley National park. This park has been voted Africa’s most wilderness park in the previous years. Kidepo has got a good array of wildlife ranging from big mammals to small creatures like birds.

Some of the possible sightings include; elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, big herds of buffaloes, elands, hartebeests, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, zebras and Giraffes and Ostriches among many others. The seasonal rivers are home to some crocodiles and the Morungole Mountains give an excellent backdrop to the park. We shall later overnight at the beautiful Kidepo Savanna Lodge.

DAY THREE : GAME DRIVE AND CULTURE EXPERIENCE

After an early morning breakfast, we shall then head out to the park for our morning game drive in search of the many animals here. Some of the animals that can be seen include; the Rock Hyrax, Uganda Kob, Reedbuck, Giraffe, Lion, Leopard, Hartebeest, Eland, Elephant and Zebra to mention a few. Kidepo is also home to the world’s biggest bird (Ostrich) and we stand a chance of seeing it.

We shall then proceed and visit the hot springs before returning back to the lodge. We shall have an afternoon visit to a Karimojong homestead to learn about their way of living as well as entertainment and fun moments with the Karimojongs. Overnight at Kidepo Savanna Lodge.

DAY FOUR : DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA

We shall wake up early morning for our breakfast and checkout of the lodge. We shall then embark on our journey back to Kampala. This will be through Lango and Acholi regions where we shall take our lunch from Gulu city. We shall later proceed and cross Karuma and Kafu bridges till we reach the city.
